The winner was determined using the True Random Number generator at www.random.org.  This independent website is a cryptographically strong random number generator utilizing random chaotic atmospheric data.

David Fitzpatrick, the lucky winner, was randomly drawn by Dr. Whitaker to win the 1^st GotScholarship $40K to Give Away. David currently studies at Montgomery Community College in Maryland with plans to continue at University of Maryland. David will complete his courses in Environmental Science and Policy Major this year and now with his GotScholarship $40K to Give Away winnings David shared “This scholarship provides a tremendous opportunity for me to pursue my education goals in environmental science and policy”
